For our upcoming meetup, we’re trying something new! We know it can be a challenge to jump into conversation when there are 25+ people in the same voice channel, so we’re introducing an optional speed networking format to help make connections easier. Through short, timed voice chats in rotating groups, you’ll have the chance to meet new people, share ideas, and spark potential collaborations—especially with folks you haven’t had the opportunity to talk to yet. For those who prefer to hang out as usual, our standard voice channel will remain open throughout the event.

📜 Format:

• Groups of Three: Participants will be randomly placed in groups of three in voice channels for each round.

• Multiple Rounds: You’ll be paired with different people in each round, giving you the opportunity to meet more members of the community.

• Timed Rounds: Each round will last 5-7 minutes to give everyone a chance to introduce themselves and discuss the icebreakers or their work/interests.

• Optional Participation: Lobby remains open for those who choose to opt out of networking.
